About Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel, the founder and writer behind FurrificPet.
My love for pets comes from real life. I spent 16 years raising and caring for Tyty, our much-loved Pomeranian. After losing Tyty, our family later welcomed Zira—a stray kitten who unexpectedly appeared at our door on 7 March 2026 and quickly became part of the family.
Caring for Tyty through different stages of life and learning how to help Zira settle into a new home showed me how confusing pet care can sometimes feel. Pet owners often receive conflicting advice, especially about behaviour, routines, training and everyday wellbeing.
That is why I created FurrificPet: to provide calm, practical guidance that pet owners can understand and use in real life.
